Arroni NTALUMA (1969)

Fank Ntaluma was born
in 1969 in Nanhagaia, Nagade District of the Cabo Delgado
Province of Mozambique. Ntaluma began sculpting in 1990
at the Nampula Ethnology Museum.
In 1992 Ntaluma arrives
in Maputo and founds the Favana Group of Makonde Sculptors.
In Maputo Ntaluma teaches makonde sculpture to Mozambicans
and foreigners.
In 2000 Ntaluma moves
to the ASEMA, National Art Museum in Maputo.
In 2002 travels to Portugal
to promote cultural exchange with local artists and in
2003 Ntaluma becomes responsable for the ALDCI makonde
sculpture school where he currently teaches.
