Born in Lubaga, Uganda
in 1979, Paul Ssendagire is one of the strongest talents
of the new generation of Ugandan contemporary artists.
Apart from printmaking,
Paul Ssendagire is also an art educator and a fabric designer.
He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and
Fine Art from Makerere University, Kampala in 2002, and
recentely finished his post graduation in Education from
the same University. 
Paul Ssendagire was vice-president
of Uganda Printmakers Association in 2003 and 2004.
Ssendagire's work has
been exhibited in Africa, Europe and Japan with consistent
good reviews. Through our gallery, Paul was selected to
participate in the "VII International Engraving Bienale"
in Versailles, France in 2007.
In Ssendagire's own words:
