Born in the village of
Nakapanya, Southern Tanzania, Steven Siyaya comes to Dar-es-Salaam
at a very young age (1970) and after completing Primary
School, he starts to learn from his father, a tingatinga
artist called Nicolas Siyaya.
Steven
Siyaya is a member of the Slipway group of artists.
